By car
Take the A43 motorway to St Michel de Maurienne (17km from Valloire), then the D902 via the Col du Télégraphe.
In winter, special equipment will be needed, with numerous snow-chain areas along the route. The Col du Galibier is closed from the end of October to the start of June.
By train

- Direct high-speed TGV service: Paris to St Michel-Valloire (4 hrs 30 mins) on Saturday and Sundays during the winter holidays.
- TGV Paris to Chambéry + direct link from Chambéry to St Michel-Valloire daily.
